{Guest Blogger} - - How to: Decorate with Letters

As I'm away having a baby, I asked a few ladies to take over my blog for the day. Today meet Shelbi - at Everyday Mrs.  She is a lover of all things mint, puppies, decorating, crafting, cooking, glitzy and fashion.

Hi Crafting a Fairytale readers, my name is Shelbi and I blog over at Everyday Mrs. Today I want to share with you one of my favorite items to decorate with: letters. Letters seem to be everywhere these days and I have been loving this trend for quite sometime especially considering my recent marriage and therefore new last name!

Above are a few ways that I’ve used letters in my own home. Letters can be used in so many ways, big and small. They can be used as a wall hanging, part of a gallery wall, to spell out your baby’s name above their crib and so, so much more!

This picture might be a little overkill but see how fun all different types, colors, and sizes can make a space so unique?

I love this one, not only because it just happens to be a “g” but also because of it’s size and that it’s a framed print. I really want to make one like this for my own home. It would be fairly simple, just print out a big, bold “g” at Kinko’s and find a frame that matches your décor!

I’ve had this one pinned for quite sometime, I think it could use fewer letters but I love the concept. Would be fun to also do in a child’s bedroom with their initial.

One last one for inspiration I had to throw in for baby Kingston. Marquee letters that actually light up are seriously amazing, this is a must for my someday nursery!

There are so many places that you can buy and find letters. I’ve bought mine at Anthropologie, Estate Sales, and Etsy. They are seriously everywhere now! I love mixing old and new finds together for a fun, unique, eclectic style. I’ve even been reading up lately on how to DIY my own marquee letter-stay tuned. Thanks for having me today Tiffany and if you like what you’ve read here today come on over and check Everyday Mrs out!
